HOW IT ALL BEGAN​

First thing to know - it was not supposed to be about Formula 1 at all! My first idea was to start a Youtube channel where I was able to do something interesting for me that is not oversaturated and try to explore what can I do and get some feedback on my work.

I love data and clean visualizations and at that time I saw a lot of Race Bar Charts on YouTube that were becoming viral, so decided to try it out.
​​
My idea was to create race bar charts of any kind of data I can find: world population, GDP, economy, football or anything that has historical data that can be used in race bar charts - hence the name - Racing Statistics - statistical data that races!
​After a while I saw that this is oversaturated and wasn't getting anywhere so I needed to step up and do something that no one has done in this area - and the idea came - race bar chart with all time F1 points but all races since 1950 to be recalculated with today's points system (at that time 2019), and that video blew up!
The video is still the most watched video on the channel.

After a while we started doing Chatalongs and Watchalongs since the channel grew a lot with subscribers, introduced your beloved commentators RaianF1, Grashuriza and many others.

In the beginning of 2025 I decided to start finally start a Racing Statistics F1 website (it has been on my mind for years).

The rest is history that wouldn't have happened without each and every one of you...!
