  1. Verstappen vs Lawson (2025 / 14 March - 23 March)


Promoted to Red Bull in 2025, Lawson faced challenges early in the season. After two races without points and struggles in qualifying, Lawson was replaced by Yuki Tsunoda. Verstappen expressed dissatisfaction with the decision, highlighting the pressures within the team.

Verstappen beat Liam 2-0 in Quali, Race, Sprint Quali and Sprint Race! So he might not be the one to beat him but he is in the Red Bull family, maybe a day will come in the future when they will be teammates again!


  1. Max Verstappen vs. Pierre Gasly (2019)


Promoted to Red Bull in 2019, Gasly struggled to match Verstappen's pace. In their 12 races together, Verstappen dominated qualifying 11–1 and races 11–1, scoring 181 points to Gasly's 63. Gasly's best finish was fourth place, while Verstappen secured multiple podiums and wins, including victories in Austria and Germany. The significant performance gap led to Gasly's mid-season demotion back to Toro Rosso. ​

  1. Max Verstappen vs. Alex Albon (2019-2020)


Albon replaced Gasly mid-2019 and showed initial promise. In their nine races together that season, Verstappen led qualifying 8–1 and races 5–4, with Albon finishing in the points consistently except for Brazil.

The 2020 season saw Verstappen's dominance grow, leading qualifying 17–0 and races 12–5. Verstappen scored 214 points to Albon's 105, with Albon achieving two podiums. Despite flashes of potential, Albon couldn't consistently match Verstappen's performance, leading to his replacement for the 2021 season.


And yes - Albon will now never trust a Mercedes on the inside!

In races, Verstappen led 35–22, amassing 608 points to Ricciardo's 590. Both drivers secured multiple podiums and wins during this period, with Verstappen achieving notable victories such as his debut Red Bull win in Spain 2016. Their collaboration was marked by mutual respect and intense competition, contributing significantly to Red Bull's performance during those seasons. ​
